The SNIA SFF Community carries forth the longstanding SFF Committee work efforts that has operated since 1990 until mid 2016. In 2016, SFF Committee leaders transitioned the organizational stewardship to SNIA while retaining the longstanding technical focus on specifications in a similar fashion as all SNIA TWGs do.

Education on the value of cloud standards like SNIA CDMI (cloud data management interface)
Presenting educational webinars, podcasts, and blogs

Our community provides support to promote the work of the SNIA Cloud Storage Technical Work Group

SNIA CDMI (Cloud Data Management Interface), an open ISO standard (ISO/IEC 17826:2022) for managing data namespaces.
