An informal gathering has given birth to a new working group that will tackle challenges around computational storage.
NVM Express Management Interface (NVMe-MI) –computational storage is gaining ground, which is when processing power is put on the storage devices themselves. NVMe playing role here, as does the Computational Storage Technical Work Group recently formed by the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA).
