Girish Kumar B K is currently working as senior engineer at NetApp India Pvt. Ltd.  He is part of Advanced Technology Group under CSO office and is focused on evaluating technological disruptions in storage industry involving low latency storage and impact on storage applications, in-memory database, storage class memory programming models, scalable computing in SaaS, edge computing in IoT and resource optimization in containerized hosting. Anindya Banerjee, Veritas

Anindya Banerjee joined Veritas almost 18 years back immediately after completing his masters’ degree in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Since then he has been involved with various storage products, including file systems, backup and archival solutions, storage management solutions, storage virtualization, and hyperconverged storage. As part of Symantec, he was also exposed to security and data loss prevention solutions. He is currently working as a Technical Director and Architect for scale out purpose build storage solutions for backup and long term retention. He is also interested in complexities of distributed system and control plane to manage such distributed systems. Anindya has more than 30 patents issued by USPTO in his name.

Ankit Mathur, Huawei

Ankit Mathur has over 16 years of experience in storage, and is Chief Architect for NAS Storage with Huawei working out of the Bangalore Research Center. He holds multiple patents for his work in the storage domain. He is responsible for innovation and development of features and products around NAS and Unstructured Data Protocols and Eco-system. His research interests are around storage eco-system for High Performance Computing, Application Integration and Computation Storage and adopting the file system stack for persistent memories. 

Vijeth Shivappa, Hitachi Vantara

Vijeth Shivappa is a Senior Technical Sales specialist with 19+ years of experience in Enterprise IT Infrastructure Solution designing, consulting & Technical account management (TAM). He is Specialized in enterprise Storage, Data Protection, BCP/DR Solution, Private & Public cloud solution, Data Center Transformation & Digital Transformation Solutions.He is an Engineering Graduate with 19+ years of diverse experience in technical account management of large enterprise customers like HDFC Bank, NSE, ICICI Bank, Yes Bank, LIC , IDFC First Bank ,HDFC Ergo General Insurance, New India Assurance, RBI & Aditya Birla Group to name the few . Sanjeev Kumar is Storage domain consultant and leading Storage CoE within the HiTech business unit at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). He has 17+ years of experience in Product development, Quality Assurance, Sustenance and solution development in Storage Industry. He has extensive experience across storage stack and his key area of focus are embedded system technologies, Solid State Storage (NVMe/NVMeOF), Hyperconvergence, Data Protection Technologies, Containers and Storage Integration solutions. Sanjeev has presented in SNIA SDC India many times and filed patents in storage technologies.

Prakash Venkatesan, Storage & Data Center Engineering Services, HCL Technologies

Prakash Venkatesen is a part of Storage and Data Center Engineering Services group at HCL Technologies. He has been working in various customer storage software projects for the last 20 years. The areas in which he has worked on includes Storage Protocols, Drivers, Tools development and Test automation.

Prakash did his Masters in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He spoke on FCoE in the first Interop Mumbai conference. He helped edit RFC 6173 and RFC  7147.

Kalyan Gunda, Distinguished Engineer & Chief Architect, Dell Technologies

Kalyan is Distinguished Engineer & chief architect for Object Storage at DELL.  His earlier work includes being a lead architect for Cyber Recovery solutions(CRS), extending Data Domain to cloud and leading various GPFS features.  He focuses on solving complex customer problems by providing simple innovative solutions across various industry domains.  He has vast experience with cluster distributed filesystems, Dedupe filesystems, backup storage and software and Object storage.  He holds 20+ patents issued in storage domain.  He is passionate about going back to basics like alternate healing, ancient history & teaching yoga, pranayama and is also an avid believer in giving back to the society in any form possible.

Alok Kataria, Nutanix

Alok is Senior Staff Engineer with the Core Data Path team at Nutanix, responsible for Designing and Architecting the AOS product line. He has 19years of rich systems experience in the Virtualisation and Storage areas, and has been the maintainer for multiple subsystems for the mainline linux kernel (Paravirtualization, memory allocators, pvscsi driver, et al.) over the years. Currently his focus is on architecting high performance storage systems.
